Geoscience Information Society  MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

PERSONAL MEMBERSHIP

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP is $55 per year, and members receive 6 issues of the GSIS Newsletter, the Proceedings published in the year of membership, and the Membership Directory, available only to members.  First-year personal membership is available at a reduced rate of $45.

STUDENT or RETIRED MEMBERSHIPS are available at a rate of $20 per year, and include the same benefits as Individual Members.

SPONSORED INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS are available to individuals from outside the United States and Canada who wish to be members. Dues are paid by members who wish to enlarge the Society's circle of international members through their individual contributions.  Please note:  Sponsored Memberships are available only to the extent that Members contribute funds to support the program.

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP is available at a rate of $100 annually, and includes the same benefits of membership as Individual Members. The Institutional Member, however, may designate an individual to be its Representative, who will have all the privileges of Individual Membership.

SUSTAINING MEMBERS show their special support for the Society with a contribution of $135 or more annually, and receive all member benefits.
